GPSL O40 Recap: April 25 - MLSA Legends vs Warriors FC

After an off week, the MLSA Legends continued their season with a second straight road game, this time against familiar foe Warriors FC. After two tight clashes last season, both teams faced off in the first round of the 2025 playoffs, with the Legends taking the win on their run to the finals.

This time, the Legends got on the board first last in the first half, as Geoff broke free, barely dribbled around the goalie, and found the back of the net. Unfortunately, Warriors tied it up a few minutes later with a quality switching of fields, and that score held until halftime.

In the second half, Geoff got loose again, but this time was taken down in the box and work a PK, which Will put away for the lead.

Then just before time expired, a great header knocked in by Tim sealed the game, giving the Legends a 3-1 victory.

The Legends are on the road again this weekend, facing a Hampton squad that gave us trouble last season.
